Softly glowing grass

This is one of those photos that's so much cooler at original size, especially in the spots where the sunlight is coming through the grass seeds. The grass just has a soft glow about it that makes it look feathery.

I took this photo on Monday. I was sick with a cold and had to get out of the office or I'd fall asleep at my desk. Lunch really helped energize me, so I drove over to the local park, bundled up in my winter gear and snapped a few photos. I didn't think I'd captured anything interesting until I saw this shot.
