Highland Dancers

Over the summer we went to the annual Scottish Highland Games put on by the St. Andrews Society here in the Chicago area. One of the many activities was the Highland Dance competition.

Here, dancers rub rosin on their slippers before performing.

  1. I've heard of rosining up a bow but this is the first time I've seen anyone rosin up their shoes - very cool!
